They laughed when I said One Day Cars Would Run On Water : New water hybrid automotive 2008

They laughed when I said One Day Cars Would Run On Water
by Michael Arcand

Many years ago I remarked to my friends during one of our chatting sessions- "One day cars will run on water". I can still remember how they all laughed at me as if I was crazy. Among them was someone who knew so much about the mechanics of a car and how it works. He was the one that laughed the loudest and took time to explain to us, especially me, how it wasn't possible for cars to EVER run on water, even 30% water.
I wish I could see his face right now while demonstrating the water car technology to him. For the rest of my friends who were there that day that I still contact, they are so filled with shame for ever laughing at me that day.
If you know anyone that has also doubted the workability of the water car technology, tell them that not only is it now workable but anyone can make it work from the comfort of their home.
That's right. The water car technology can be made workable by just about anyone, who has access to the right information and the right devices needed.
How exactly this water car technology works?
This water car technology is the use of simple technology of putting together of home-made devices that use a little electricity out of your car's battery to separate water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also known as Hydrogen*Oxygen, or Hydroxy, burns beautifully and by so doing provides TONS of energy.
And the most remarkable beauty is that this pound for pound HHO gas is even much more potent than gasoline. In fact 3 times more potent than gasoline.
To get started, learn more about how this works and how you too can do it yourself on your car. With the power of the Internet you can find this information for free. When you arm yourself with this information you will be amazed at how easy it can be to make this water car technology work for you.

Coming Soon: Electric Cars For Sale : The best Electric Cars hybrid cars 2009

Coming Soon: Electric Cars For Sale
by Robert Barr

The question is will it last? Have we finally reached a crisis point in a time when the world's automobile manufacturers realize we need an alternative to gas powered vehicles? That the only way to avoid the fate of the dinosaur is to drive better gas mileage into their cars and trucks while continuing research on other alternatives? Consumers are buying electric car kits, spending money on electric car conversions, and trying to find out exactly what electric cars are and how they work. But if gas sees sub two dollars a gallon, will we forget about the pain of $5 a gallon gas?
Most people say no. Most people realize we have gone down this road before and they are not willing to get caught behind the eight ball again. Problem is no one tells the car makers. All of the majors are working on alternative fuel sources for the next few model years banking on the fact that the world's drivers have had enough. Problem is if gas is cheap again, consumers will pick up right where they left off and drive up demand for SUV's and other gas guzzlers which will force automobile manufactures to retool to release pent up demand and sideline their "green" programs yet again.
Going Green Does Have Problems
There is a huge outcry against the E85 or Ethanol based fuel program. For one the energy savings created by using ethanol is negated by the fact that it burns less efficiently than gas. Also, with the price of food skyrocketing, people have a problem with turning that food into fuel. Not to mention logistics, there are only 1500 service stations out of a total of 176,000 that offer E85 ethanol, and the vehicle in question has to be converted to take the 85/15 ethanol gas blend. In other words, this will be another boondoggle that gets us no were fast.
There Are Other Solutions
The electric car is seen as the next best technology and will hit the market in full force over the next few model years. Toyota is considering a Prius with solar panels to power the air conditioning unit. General Motors is planning on launching the sleek and sexy Volt in 2010, and BMW is working on a hydrogen powered engine they say will be ready in less than ten years. There are rumors that Mercedes-Benz plans on eliminating gas powered engines from its entire fleet by 2015. That is a pretty bold effort, but one that is surely needed.
But if any of these fantastic technological breakthroughs are going to be successful people are going to have to buy them. No one is going to confuse you for a secret agent while tooling around town in your Prius, and you are certainly going to get stares in your SMART car from Mercedes, but for all the wrong reasons. But not to worry all of you fashonistas out there waiting for the right car to accessorize your dog-wallet-purse-girlfriend-job with, the Volt is a nice looking vehicle and if you happen to have a hundred grand laying around, you could always pony up for a Tesla and be green and sexy all at the same time!

Hydrogen For Cars : New Cars hydrogen hybrid review 2008

Hydrogen For Cars
by wordpressblogforlife
Hydrogen for cars ? What do you think of when you see the term "hydro powered car?" Do you imagine a car that uses water instead of petrol as fuel? You should think of a hydro powered car and think of something slightly different, a cross between all hydrogen for cars and one that somehow uses water as fuel. These types of car famously call as a car that runs on water.
The idea of using water or hydrogen for cars directly as fuel is still in children science fiction. On the face of it, the idea seems ridiculous. Yet today you can buy hydro powered car kits that use the hydrogen as fuel (to supplement the petrol) in standard automobiles, resulting in much higher mileage.
Hydrogen For Cars
What the relation between hydrogen and water? You should understand this before read all the entire article. Hydrogen is one component in molecule of water. Molecule of water is H2O. H is for hydrogen and O for oxygen. That's why this hydrogen for cars is said to use water as fuel.
Why Should You Care?
This kind of hydrogen for cars definitely isn't the futuristic all-hydrogen automobile you may have heard about, or the apparently mysterious vehicle that runs on just tap water that we would all love to have. So why should you mind about this kind of hydrogen-petrol hydro powered car? There are lots of good reasons:
If you've buy petrol lately, you know that the price is high and become highest in this year. Hydrogen for cars can get much higher mileage than an all-petrol car, which means big reserves on gas.
Petrol comes with lots of baggage. The West's dependence on overseas oil makes it reliant on countries like Iraq and Iran. Anything that reduces Western addiction on their oil reduces the risks. That's why hydrogen for cars concept is important to American.
The sad information is that Americans did not enough information about hydrogen for cars concept. Most basically don't live in place where another option of fuels is readily available. Don't forget toxic waste. Burning petrol for fuel pollutes the air. Hydrogen for cars concept gets better mileage and so reduces that effluence.
How Does This Kind of Hydrogen for Cars Work?
How can water, the same material that comes from your kitchen tap, be used to fuel your automobile engine? The key is hydrogen. What is water when you go down to the molecular structure? Two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Get the hydrogen out of the water and mix it with your car's petrol and voila! Hydrogen for cars concept have been established
Hydrogen for cars that use hydrogen is a highly advantageous resource of fuel because it delivers lots of power and burns with almost no pollutants. But hydrogen for cars concept that run solely on hydrogen aren't geared up yet and won't be realistic for a while. Using hydrogen as a supplemental fuel like use in hydrogen for cars concept is a safe and sound and efficient alternative that's offered right now.
Hydrogen for cars kits available today use electricity to exchange regular water into hydrogen and oxygen in your car as needed. The hydrogen is instantaneously mixed with the car's petrol and burned, delivering superior fuel effectiveness and cleaner exhaust. It is an ultimate answer for today's world, and thousands of communities around the world have purchased these kits to adapt their own vehicle into hydrogen for cars concept.

Honda CBR1100XX - Super Blackbird : New Honda new cars 2009

Honda CBR1100XX - Super Blackbird
by InsureMyRide

There is something just so utterly intoxicating about the way Honda's Super Blackbird blends such enormous raw power with such velvety-smooth refinement.
By rights, 152 claimed horses - which still equates with over 130bhp at the rear wheel - should make the 223kg Blackbird a big handful, yet somehow Honda's wizards have managed to break those horses, and train them to perform a synchronized ballet that would be the envy of Spain's famed dancing stallions…
Then there's the fact that some 10 years after its introduction, the Blackbird is still on the pace despite receiving very little in the way of modifications or upgrades.
Released late in 1996, the CBR1100XX went from carburettors to electronic fuel injection in 1999, and then received a catalytic converter and updated headlights, instruments and screen in 2001 - throw in the odd change in colour scheme here and there, and the Blackbird has really undergone very little in the way of tinkering.
And really, why would it? Pointing the bike down Victoria's Great Ocean Road recently, it showed it can still hold its head high, with a formula that really hasn't dated since its inception.
The Blackbird's turbine-like four-cylinder engine develops big torque and big power, with crisp fuel injection that places both at your beck and call. There are no flat spots to speak of, in fact there's nothing but bulk oomph pretty much throughout its entire rev range, from just off idle to its indicated 10,750rpm redline.
On the road this translates to a pure delight, although it's perhaps not as involving as other less-powerful machines, as even on a road with quite a variation of turns you can simply pick a gear and stick with it.
The Blackbird was the world's fastest production bike when it first hit the streets, a mantle it retained for over two years until Suzuki introduced the GSX1300R Hayabusa in May of 1999.
While it's not quite as strong as the 'Bus or Kawasaki's ZX-14 or even ZX-12R, there's still plenty here to keep you entertained, and you'll need to watch that right wrist like a hawk if you want any chance of retaining your license…
Stopping is a particularly important issue on a bike like this, and the twin-disc, three-piston Nissins are right on the money. Honda's Dual Combined Brake System (DCBS) is employed, which won't please everyone but will be appreciated by others. If you're not looking to break lap records at Phillip Island, it shouldn't be an issue - and if you are you should really be looking for something lighter anyway, like a Fireblade.
The suspension, though relatively low-tech, does a beautiful job, but tends towards the plusher end of the spectrum, at least in terms of sportier hardware.
The 'Bird's on the money in the comfort stakes too, with a firm but supportive seat, a good screen and slippery bodywork to allow you to scythe through the air. Those on the tall side may find legroom a bit wanting, but there's still enough there to ensure multi-day tours will still be on the agenda, aided further by the 'Bird's optional factory panniers ($1750). So what exactly is the Blackbird's focus? At 223kg (dry) it's too heavy to be a pure sportsbike, yet it's too fast and has too sporty a ride position to be a true tourer.
Really, it's a power-packed all-rounder and a hyper-tourer on the open road - provided you can find roads on which you can actually explore its potential (try Germany).
But even at legal speeds, that engine will always see you coming back for more. Happy birthday Blackbird - may your reign in the Honda stable continue for many years more.

How To Save Gas Cost By Running Your Car or Truck On Water: New water hybrid review 2008

How To Save Gas Cost By Running Your Car or Truck On Water
by Michael Arcand
When you look closely at such 100% water driven technology, one ends up spending even more than using the usual fuel for powering vehicles. So, the method I recommend for powering your car with water that will save you cost of fuel is to make your own low-cost hybrid car that will run on water and gas, thereby saving you huge costs you would have spent using only gas. In other words - Hydrogen-On-Demand system where you run your car on Hydrogen WHEN you need it! Note that I am not saying you should build a car from scratch that will run on water. Not at all. This instead is about constructing simple devices that will enable your car to run on water as well as gas. You don't have to alter your car make-up or get a new car. The technology can work with almost any car or truck. In simple words, this technology involves putting together home-made devices that use a little electricity out of your car's battery to separate water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). By using such cars you effectively save money that would have been spent on fuel for your car. It is estimated that this could save you as much as $897.40 per year. If you are two, three or four drivers in the family, this yearly savings increases dramatically. And what if you have a fleet of 50 drivers in your company? Then your yearly savings will multiply to $44,870. First things first... this isn't about running your car on 100% water. Of course there are information available about running your car on 100% water but I don't recommend them because they are not only complicated but seriously expensive and completely unpredictable.

Do Not Back into Something in a SUV : New SUVs cars 2009 review

Do Not Back into Something in a SUV
by Dennis James
Modern cars are built somewhat different compared to cars thirty or forty years ago. Back then cars were built so strong, that if you ever back up and hit something, like a wall or a pole, the car would hardly had any scratch on it.
Nowadays car manufacturers make use of controlled deformable zones around your car's chassis that are meant to break up first when your car is hit so that the impact energies will be dissipated and they will not reach the car's passengers.
In fact, a recent survey conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety revealed that the most expensive SUV repairing for a 5mph crash was around $3,300. Why was the repairing so expensive you may ask, for a back-up hit that happened at almost walking speed? The SUV has damaged its end gate and its rear window, beside from pulling the fender wells in.
The same survey reveled that between 1999 and 2003 seven of the 10 most expensive SUV repairing due to faulty back-ups were because the spare tire was situated on the end gate, causing significant damage to this part of the car.
Among those very expensive SUV's to fix were the Toyota Rav4, the Honda CR-V, the Isuzu Trooper or the Land Rover Freelander. In all these cases, their owners had to pay more than $2,000 for a slow speed back collision.
You should know these facts if you are interested in buying a SUV. Yes, they seem solid and they are advertised to be able to go where normal cars cannot and sustain significant amount of pressure. However, even the minor crash can cost you many thousand of dollars in these SUVs.
Another relevant piece of information is the federal standard for car bumpers. 30 years ago there was a 5mps bumper standard, whereas today this limit has decreased to 2.5 mps.
However, this bumper standard only applies to small cars and not to large SUVs or pick-up trucks. Hence SUV's and pick-ups have very large bumpers installed, repairing or replacing such an item can cost you dearly.
In fact, it is recently that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has removed from their testing procedures the rear pole crush test as car manufacturers had put increased pressure on the Institute to do so. This means that you are not able to know at what speed your SUV can withstand a back-up crash without sustaining significant damage.
Let us look at the prices for car rear bumpers to understand whey repairing or replacing a bumper can be that expensive. Repairing a plastic, medium size rear bumper will cost anywhere from $300 to $500. To replace it altogether will cost you from $800 to $1,100, depending on your car's brand and size.
However, most modern cars include reversing sensors in the rear bumper or small video cameras for reversing. In this case, you can double the above prices, as new similar equipment will have to be installed, in addition to connecting all the wires to these accessories.
Statistics reveal that in the US alone there are more than 12 million rear end collisions each year and more than 8 million rear bumpers are replaced yearly.
Therefore, even if the speed of the crash is not at all significant, insurance companies pay a lot of money for repairing or replacing these parts.
In addition, you know that you need insurance; the company will only increase your insurance fee over the next years. The best advice one can get you is to drive carefully and safely.

2008 Isuzu Ascender Production About to End
by Anthony Fontanelle
The Isuzu Ascender is a mid size SUV from Isuzu. It was first launched in 2003 as a seven passenger SUV. It replaced the Japanese built mid size Isuzu Trooper. As for the year 2007 model the Isuzu Ascender is offered as a SUV that can seat five passengers. It replaced the Isuzu Rodeo and the Axiom.
The 2008 Ascender is a 4 door, 5 passenger sport utility, available in two trims, the S 2WD and the S 4WD. It is a carryover from 2007. “Both trims are equipped with a standard 4.2 liter, I6, 285 horsepower engine that achieves 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. A 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.” Maximum towing capacity is 5800 lb. It offers a nice ride and impressive V6 engine power. It comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive is an option.
Though it’s not very distinctive, reviewers say that it is a good looking one. It has a very handsome front-end design which is enhanced by attractive badges, lights, grille, and bumpers(http://www.innerauto.com). It features machined-finish alloy wheels, 17 inch alloy wheels, over fenders and body side moldings. I quote from Auto Media “though officially midsize, this is one big vehicle.”
Reviewers praise this vehicle for its very spacious interior and amazing auto body parts. It boasts abundant interior volume for both passengers and cargo. Even six-footers will enjoy ample head room, knee room, and foot space. It comes standard with height-adjustable front headrests, a second row folding bench seat, power windows and door locks, a tilt steering column, air conditioning with CFC-free refrigerant, manual dual-zone climate control with rear switch, and an AM/FM stereo and CD player with six speakers.
It gets good scores in most federal government crash tests. According to usnews.rankingsandreviews.com, “In frontal crash tests, the 2008 Ascender gets four out of five stars for passenger protection, but only three stars for driver protection. It fares much better in side crash tests, earning top scores of five stars for both front- and rear-seat protection.”
Standard safety features include a front and rear ventilated disc brakes 4 wheel ABS, traction control, front side mounted airbags, anti theft alarm system engine immobilizer, dusk sensing headlamps, front fog lights, tire-pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights, an electronic stability system and anti-lock brakes.
The Ascender ends production after the 2009 model year as part of Isuzu's withdrawal from the United States market.

Diesel Truck MPG - Beating Gasoline Engines For More Miles Per Gallon :New truck pick up cars 2008

Diesel Truck MPG - Beating Gasoline Engines For More Miles Per Gallon
by Dean Forster
Often times the diesel engine truck is used to haul very heavy items, opting to pick a diesel engine will not only benefit for the heavy load, but it will also help with the miles per gallon (mpg). Diesel truck mpg is much better than that of gasoline engines. While regular unleaded gasoline runs more smoothly and is easier to find, the engine that runs on diesel fuel should still be considered when buying a new truck. If a consumer is in the market for a new truck and they need to haul heavy loads regularly, that person should probably stick with diesel. Since diesel trucks can get better mileage (for they are built to go 250,000 miles more) they are ideal for heavy loads and many trips back and forth. Because of all these reasons, and although diesel trucks tend to cost more, they will end up being well worth the money in the long run. One reason diesel fuel might have a higher cost than most gas is that it has higher energy content than gasoline, and diesel performance is usually better in terms of engine output. These reasons also mean that vehicles running on diesel put less global-warming pollution into the air. Thanks to its higher energy content and its efficient combustion process, diesel performance enables cars and trucks to travel at least 30% farther on a gallon of fuel than comparable gasoline models. The improved efficiency of diesel engines can also help reduce oil consumption. Many dealerships are not offering a choice of either a diesel engine or a gasoline engine. While both are equal in different ways, the diesel engines have less keep up. Gasoline engines need a tune up every thirty thousand miles, while a diesel engine can go much longer without a tune up. General Motors, Ford and many other companies are doing extensive research on putting forth a car that does not run on gasoline, but currently there are many consumers that are opting for a diesel engine over a gasoline engine. While most gasoline engines are a standard in cars, in order to keep diesel truck mpg down, a lot of companies are making the diesel engine a standard in most trucks. Hybrid trucks are also becoming quite a popular commodity as well, but until the price of hybrid trucks goes down, the diesel truck will still be one of the best choices.

CUT YOUR GAS COSTS : New Gas Hybrid cars 2009

CUT YOUR GAS COSTS
by Paul Aitchison

Imagine how much money you can save by cutting your gas costs! All you need is a kit with instructions on how to build a converter. A water hybrid vehicle burns a combination of water and gas, and will cut your gas spending by about 40% or more. There are various types of kits available to convert your car into a water hybrid. The best conversions use plain tap water. Converting a vehicle is not difficult or expensive and works on all vehicles. It works on vehicles that run on gas or diesel, including cars, vans, trucks and SUVs. A converter saves money by burning both water and gasoline for fuel. A converter separates water into a gas called HHO (2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom) using the electricity from the battery of the vehicle. A converter produces hydrogen that is required by the vehicle. This gas is called Brown's Gas, which burns smoothly. It delivers the atomic potency of hydrogen and also retains the stability of water. Once burned as fuel in the vehicle the end product is H2O! It is easy to install, affordable and a quart of water can last for months. HHO is a form of gas created by electrolysis. Ordinary water contains a ton of energy, but the trick is to get that energy out without using a lot of energy to do so. The creation of pure hydrogen gas is impossible. As of now, it is not even economical for large corporations but the financial reward for them will be huge once they figure it out. Of course you and I will then have to buy expensive hydrogen burning vehicles and still be held hostage at the pumps, and ride around on a tank of highly combustible fuel! Thousands of people all over the world are converting their cars to run on water by building their own hydrogen generators. The HHO that is created on demand is safe and when combined with ordinary gas, increases the fuel mixtures efficiency and allow it to burn completely therefore increasing the gas mileage. A vehicle will then have cleaner emissions and we will be spending less on gas! Imagine how much money we will save every month if we cut our fuel costs by 40% or more. Some drivers report their gas costs have dropped by 50% and more after installing a converter. Thousands of automobile owners are already using this method safely without issues. You can set up a water hybrid conversion using parts easily available at a hardware store.

ENGINES THAT RUN ON WATER : New hybrid car water 2009

ENGINES THAT RUN ON WATER
by Paul Aitchison
Are you looking for a way to run your car on water? A 100% water engine is still in the process of invention and may be very expensive to build. Therefore, it would not be a smart financial investment to build one. To name a few manufacturers like Honda and Toyota, are looking for ways to make it a cheaper technology. However, you do not have to wait for the technology to convert your car into a water-gas hybrid. The technology is here already. Many people are satisfied and saving thousands of dollars with their converted cars. Who wouldn't be? Imagine being able to double your mileage by just installing a hydrogen generator. Yes that is right! Doubling your car’s mileage. Isn’t that amazing? There are numerous websites across the web where you will find detailed articles or videos which will show you how to convert your car to run partially on water. You will be able to increase your mileage up to 200%. They have installed it on a Toyota Corolla and it runs up to 67 MPG. Just imagine how much money you will be saving each month. Water is supplemental to gasoline or diesel fuel. However it is possible and very easy to extract energy from water in order to run your car. There are water-to-energy converters available online based on a simple technology. It's one of the most practical free-energy devices, marked by extraordinary simplicity and effectiveness. Based on old "forgotten" science that is well documented in US Patents many companies have developed devices that use a little electricity out of your car/truck battery, to separate water into a gas called "HHO" (2 parts Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also called Brown's Gas which burns beautifully and provides tons of energy - while the end product is just WATER! Mobile Magazine says: HHO provides the atomic power of Hydrogen, while maintaining the chemical stability of water. Factually, Brown’s Gas is 3 times more potent than gasoline and is a fast growing trend for boosting performance and MPG. This is a 90 year old suppressed technology which these companies are using today. We cannot rule out the fact that in the near future this suppressed technology will rule the automobile industry and cars running on water will be seen plying on every street

Now you can run your car on Water Mixed Gas

We all know that gas prices are through the roof and without a doubt will continue to rise. But what if there was a way to save money on gas, big money? There is and it's done with a little help from water. Did you know that there is technology you can use to almost completely run your car on water now? There is and it can save you a ton of money on gas every month. This technology can teach you how to make your own low-cost hybrid car that runs on water and gas. It is necessary for us to look for other alternatives as the price of crude oil and gas is soaring high. Now the question arises whether a car can really run on water mixed gas. The researchers are doing a research on this and they claim that it is possible to run a car on water mixed gas. They say that with the addition of certain quantity of water with gas it is possible to make a fuel that can meet a common man's expectations. However it needs a slight modification in the engine by adding on small equipment that will serve the demand of the new fuel.
According to the research if a small quantity of water is added to petrol, diesel or gasoline with the addition of necessary additives, the water gets mixed with the conventional fuel and can act as an effective fuel for the vehicles. This new fuel will not only reduce the cost but also reduce the pollution and will protect the environment. As we cannot ignore the fact that water causes rust to the steel and other parts of the engine that are made up of iron and steel, so chemicals that prevent water from causing rust to the steel, must be added to the fuel.
If the car runs on the water gas fuel, it will not only enhance the performance of the car but also minimize carbon deposits in piston and skirts will reduce sludge and varnish formation. Not only this, it will also reduce the engine temperature, due to the presence of water in the fuel. Also, the car will act itself as a catalytic converter if it gets water gas as a fuel. It is advantageous to run a car on water gas but the water and gas ratio should be optimized and proper chemicals called additives should be added so that water does not remain in free form, as it may cause rust to the steel parts of the engine. This effective process requires the help of experts, as we alone cannot get this process done.
By using this technology you can literally save over $1,000 a year as a sole driver. The more drivers you have, the more you will save. If you own a company with a fleet of trucks, say 50, your looking at a savings of over $50,000 a year!

Honda Hydrogen Car - A Step in the Right Direction

Honda Hydrogen Car - A Step in the Right Direction
by Michael Cooper
In November of 2007, Honda announced its next generation eco-friendly vehicle, the Honda FCX Clarity. Unlike many of the other eco-friendly cars such as hybrids and other hydrogen cars, the FCX Clarity hydrogen car uses what is called a fuel cell. A fuel cell is a device that creates electricity from the fuel, in this case hydrogen. The Honda V Flow fuel cell is a revolutionary breakthrough that generates enough electricity to power a real world car. The fuel cell combines hydrogen from the fuel tank with oxygen in the air to produce two things: electricity and water. That is correct; water is the only byproduct of the Honda FCX Clarity! This amazing system allows the Honda FCX Clarity to be ranked as what is known as a ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicle). It has absolutely no harmful emissions of any sort. The wheels are driven by a quiet, compact electric motor that draws power from the fuel cell and from the lithium-ion (Lion) battery that like a gas hybrid is also charged when braking and driving downhill. Comparative Gas Mileage There is no direct way to compare gas mileage as hydrogen is a compressed gas and is measured in kilograms of fuel weight. The tank holds 4.1kg of fuel (about 9 pounds) which is enough to give the car a range of 280 miles. Miles per gallon is calculated using the GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) which determines the comparative energy used to move the car. Miles Per Gallon (GGE) - City: 79 - Highway: 68 - Combined: 74 Miles Per Kilogram - City: 77 - Highway: 67 - Combined: 72 Yes, you read that correctly; Miles per Kilogram. Since the fuel storage is measured in kilograms MPK will be an increasingly common method of measuring your mileage as hydrogen powered cars become more common. The Honda FCX Clarity drives just like any other Honda, with on exception, it has virtually no engine noise. With its super quiet engine it has ample pick-up and produces 134 horsepower, more than enough to move its light, aerodynamic frame around the road. The vehicle also sports a lot of Honda's upcoming features and technology with a very advanced, yet comfortable and convenient interior. Honda plans to produce a limited of the 2008 FCX Clarity models and offer them on lease at $600/month. They are available in southern California in areas near pre-existing hydrogen refueling stations. Honda has also created a Hydrogen Dealer Network where the cars are to be sold and serviced.

Honda Civic Type R EK9 : New honda civic hybrid car review 2009

Honda Civic Type R EK9
by George Prodromou
In 1997, Civic also received the Type R treatment. Based on the 6th generation Civic's EK9 3-door hatchback body, it was commonly referred to EK9 Type R. Its B16B 1.6-liter DOHC VTEC engine got aggressive tuning including higher compression ratio, lightweight forged pistons, hand polished intake ports and more aggressive VTEC setting. This raised its red line to an astonishing 9000 rpm, maximum power from 170 hp to 185 hp at 8200 rpm. That was some 116 horsepower per liter ! At the time it was the world's most efficient naturally aspirated engine. On the downside, the small engine capacity limited its max torque to 118 lb-ft and it was delivered in a peaky manner. To compensate for the lack of low down torque, Honda fitted a close-ratio gearbox and ordered its chassis to undergo a strict diet. The result was the deletion of air conditioning, power steering, sound deadening and ABS. Besides, the regular seats were replaced by lightweight Recaro buckets, accompanied with serious-looking Momo steering wheel and titanium gear knob. As a result, the Civic Type R weighed only 1040 kilograms. Use its high-revving power smartly, it could accelerate from 0-60 mph in six point something seconds and flat out at near 140 mph. The chassis of Type R was reinforced by using seam welding and suspension tower brace front and rear. Of course, the double-wishbone suspensions were stiffened a lot to enable flat cornering, while Bridgestone Potenza RE010 tyres provided extra grip. A helical LSD (limited slip differential) was added between the front wheels to ensure no wheelspin during hard cornering. The first generation Civic Type R was a hardcore driver's car, more so than any hot hatches at the time I could think of. Pictures and information can be found at http://www.reviewgrounds.com

How Do Hydrogen Fuel Systems Work : hybrid car hydrogen cars 2008-2009 review

How Do Hydrogen Fuel Systems Work
by Daniel Millions

Alternative sources of fuel are of interest not only to high class research firms but also to the average consumer. Rising gas prices have forced everyone, save the extravagantly rich, to make sacrifices and find new ways to power their vehicles. The widespread desire to save on gas has led to the increased purchasing of hybrid and electric cars.
For those that do not have the ability to switch vehicles, improving current transportation's efficiency is the only option left. To date, the most effective way to drastically increase gas mileage is to install a hydrogen fuel system, which employs only water to function.
Hydrogen is created through the electrolysis of water. Electricity is taken from the car battery and used as the catalyst to stimulate electrolysis. The hydrogen created burns much more cleanly than regular fuel and increases the efficiency of gasoline. Only about twenty percent of the energy released by burning gas goes in to moving a vehicle; the other eighty percent is lost to heat and other energy forms. A water system enables the engine to harness more usable power. When people think of alternative fuels, gasoline is never on the list. However, if the fuel could be made to work at nearly one hundred percent efficiency, there would be no oil crisis.
The benefits of installing a hydrogen fuel system in to your vehicle are numerous and significant. Improved gas mileage is the first and most obvious advantage. Helping the environment is vital as well, as a destroyed ecosystem is harmful to everything, including humans. Your engine will last a lot longer, as water is consistently rejuvenating to it. Minuscule amounts of water need to be used; in fact, you can use the same liter of water for months, as water contains thousands of times more energy than oil. Finally, one will notice a considerable decrease in noise and an increase in driving smoothness, which are signs of how excellent the water system really is.
Initial costs for constructing and installing a system vary, depending on whether you purchase a conversion kit and/or pay a mechanic to perform the installation for you. At the lowest level, conversions can run as low as one hundred and fifty dollars. Of course, the fuel for the system, water, does not cost any money at all. Installation is safe and does not void a vehicle's warranty, and a water fuel system can be removed at any time for any reason. One usually saves more than they spent after only a few months of water fuel utilization.
Like with any innovation, there are critics of using water for fuel. Some say that the process violates the laws of physics; that because energy in equals energy out, there is no way consuming water could yield any positive results. Recall that the ultimate purpose of a water system is to increase the efficiency of gasoline. Water cannot be used for fuel alone; it needs to be paired with gasoline.
In any case, it is clear that hydrogen fuel systems are effective, as hundreds of thousands of people have already invested in conversion kits. In fact, it is predicted that within the next decade, a majority of vehicles will come standard with some kind of water fuel system, thus easing many countries dependence on oil.

Can You Really Use WATER for GAS?
by Derek Wray

With gas prices well over $4.00 a gallon and predicted to go over $6.00 a gallon, it was only a matter of time before people started searching for ways to increase their gas mileage.
As I was researching ways to increase gas mileage, I learned about a relatively unknown way to significantly increase any car's gas mileage by using water to supplement the fuel with hydrogen for a better fuel burn.
However, the idea of running your car on water sounded absurd so I was skeptical about this "simple technology"
These are just some of the claims made:
Water fuel will enable your vehicle to become at least 40% more fuel efficient. Water fuel will boost performance while producing cleaner emissions. You can receive IRS refunds owed to you by law for using green technology in your vehicle! 100% safe/legal - guaranteed! Works with plain tap water Enjoy incredible fuel savings.
Could this be real or just another internet scam...
This is what I discovered.
Will running your car on water really work? Well, not exactly. Your car will still use gas as it's primary source of combustion. You will be supplementing that fuel with hydrogen. What you are going to be doing with Water Fuel technology is creating an extremely cost-effective hydrogen powered hybrid (Water Hybrid) by taking advantage of the atomic constituents of water molecules, hydrogen and oxygen (H2O).
The conversion to a water hybrid uses inexpensive parts that you can find at any local hardware store such as Home Depot or Lowes. When setup, a small amount of power is used from your car's battery to seperate the water molecules into HHO gas. This gas is then fed into the intake of your vehicle creating a more efficient burn for your fuel. This is why you can achieve significant increases in gas mileage.
You generate free energy by ENHANCING the EFFICIENCY of your poorly designed engine!!! Your car engine currently uses 20% of the energy stored in that expensive fuel - and WASTES 80% for heat, pollution (unburned fuel!) and vibration.
HHO gas is very stable and burns incredibly well as a significant power source and the conversion really is simple to set up with the guides that are floating around the internet today, however many people have doubts such as:
Is this process safe?
Water fuel is safe for your car's engine. Water Fuel (HHO gas) is supplemental to fuel and will actually create a cooler burn that causes less wear and tear on your car's engine.
This technology works with all vehicles but it works best with?
Water fuel technology works with any kind of gasoline or diesel powered vehicle, however it is geared towards fuel economy, not minimizing power loss. For this reason, vehicles such as giant SUVs and trucks will not see as large of an increase in fuel economy as lighter, less demanding vehicles...
In conclusion, water fuel technology does work and can save 40% or more in fuel costs while significantly increasing your vehicles gas mileage. The technology is simple to install and will not adversly affect your engine nor does it void your warranty.

Cheap Gas Device: How to Build a Fuel Injected Water Hybrid : best gas hybrid cars 2009

Cheap Gas Device: How to Build a Fuel Injected Water Hybrid
by Star Smith
When you turn on your TV and see the news about the out of control gas prices, I bet you worry a bit like I do that soon we won't be able to afford to drive, except for very short trips. The run away gas prices are causing panic in various places around the world - including here in the United States. A few oil speculators are making a bundle at our expense, but officials don't seem to be able to do anything about it.
The good news is that there is something the average price gouged citizen can do: find an alternative source for cheap gass. While doing my research, I discovered that there are already some well-known alternatives to driving with gasoline.
Cooking Oil - It may sound funny, but converting diesel to run on cooking oil is one way to get around town. Many people use pure cooking oil, but for those who really want to be environmentally friendly, they go around town and collect used cooking oil from restaurants. This sometimes causes vehicles to smell like French fries. Unfortunately, cooking oil only works in diesel engines.
Electric Powered Cars - the obvious advantages of electric powered cars is that there would no longer be a need for expensive crude oil. Also, there would be way less air pollution from car exhaust. Unfortunately, the battery powered car has not been perfected for every day use and, even worse, there is no infrastructure in place (like recharging stations) to support them.
Car Gas Conversion Kits - Many people are opting for a do it yourself hydrogen kit for gas engines. These kits show you how to build a fuel injected water hybrid energy source. Using easy to find materials like jars, bottles, hoses and connectors, you simply follow the blueprint, then install it in your car.
How can water run a car engine?
The concept is really just basic science.
When we use water in our everyday lives, we are usually filling a glass from the faucet or taking a shower. We never think of it as a power source, but in fact, water is a great power source.
When water is electrolyzed, it turns into a hydrogen gas called Browns Gas. This gas gives your car's gas mileage a real boost when it enters the combustible engine. Less gasoline is needed to run your car because the Browns Gas is an extremely high-quality energy burning fuel, and it won't linger in your car engine.
The conversion of gasoline engine to water hybrid is one great way to save money on your fuel costs. Your savings can then go towards buying other things you need. There are several plans available online that can show you how to build a water hybrid device. The plans range from complex to easy. If you can follow simple directions, you'll have no problem building and installing one. Soon you'll be enjoying real savings at the pump.

Starting fourth, first Lewis has a look at the left, trying to go through the middle of Webber in front of him and Kovalainen on pole, but he thought better of it...just as well because Raikonen to his left got boxed in behind the two front row starters...

moving to the right he squeezed between the pit wall and Webber ,easily outdraging him towards the first corner...only Kovalainen left...

Kovalainen and Hamilton are now going side by side through the first corner, banging wheels,Heikki has a big moment,it looks like Lewis is ahead but Heikki catches his slide and won't have any of it...

Lewis Hamilton has to be content sitting in the spray of Kovalainen...visibility zero...this is just the start...more excitement will follow...

What Is A Hybrid Car? : new water Hybrid cars 2008-2009

What Is A Hybrid Car?
by Wendy Gorman

Everybody knows about rising gas prices. Worldwide people all over are pondering what they can do to mitigate the rise in price. One way is to change to a different model. That's simple, right? But what kind of vehicle should you choose? It just may be time to try a hybrid car.
Discussions about hybrid cars can be heard everywhere. They are now available in great colors, with sleek styles, and they will reduce the cost of your commute. When you consider the characteristics of the latest hybrid cars, how could you not rush immediately to a car dealer and grab one from him? Well, if only it were that simple, but before you do rush out, it might be worth learning a little more about these cars and the new technology.
Put simply, hybrid cars run on electricity. A Hybrid car utilises a rechargeable energy storage system to supplement a conventional propulsion system that is onboard the vehicle. Together, these work to give the vehicle improved fuel economy over cars that run only on gasoline.
Unlike previous battery powered vehicles, hybrid cars utilise batteries that do not have to be charged by an external source and therefore maintain the same freedom of movement that is enjoyed by the traditional gas guzzler. Instead, a process known as 'regenerative braking' is exploited whereby the kinetic energy generated when any vehicle uses its braking system, is redeployed as an electric charge. Some hybrid cars even make use of their own internal combustion engine to generate additional electric power. The otherwise standard combustion engine achieves this by spinning an electrical generator, the output of which can then be used in one of two ways. It will either continuously recharge the vehicle battery or more directly, will give power to an electric motor which is then used to drive the vehicle.
Since this fuel-economizing vehicle generates its own electricity, it contrasts markedly with a vehicle runs strictly static internal batteries. An obvious advantage here is that there is no waiting while your car charges up outside in the garage before you go to work. All that is required is to get in to the vehicle, turn on the ignition and drive.
Electrical vehicles have indeed been around for sometime have enjoyed varying degrees of success. The unveiling of the hybrid car however, has far outstripped the impact of those earlier achievements.
Owing to the hybrid cars innovative use of technology to both power itself and to offer travellers a way to save money on fuel, it is often called the car of the future. Well that's what some car manufacturers would have you believe, and no doubt many auto owners would agree with them. Clearly seen as the next generation of motor vehicles, customer purchases of hybrid cars continue to rise year on year.
So if you wish to be at the leading edge of motoring fashion and also want a car that saves on gas, why not make the change and invest in a hybrid car.
It might be that you just find yourself tired of pulling over at local gas stations to fill the tank. Think about that and you might just realise, you have yet another reason to purchase a hybrid car. So don't hesitate, head on over to your local hybrid car dealer. It could lay the foundation for a whole new motoring future.

Gas Price Relief - Can You Really Run a Car on Water and Save Money? : New Gas Hybrid cars 2009

Gas Price Relief - Can You Really Run a Car on Water and Save Money?
by Matthew Loop, DC
During my long journey to uncover a breakthrough way to save money on gas and substantially elevate fuel efficiency over the last 8 months, I've ran through so much identical information on many websites that intend on showing your the "tricks of the trade." They all really point to similar tactics like don't hit the brakes as frequently, use slow acceleration, make sure the tires remain inflated, cruise whenever possible, carpool, etc... All of this has only created massive headaches in the minds of many people, including myself since many prefer not to drive like our grandparents!
The above strategies are, at best, trivial when they only amount to an extra couple miles per gallon. To me, that's no the "solution" I've been seeking or need. Personally, I felt that there must have been a truly better way to actually watch my trip odometer and visualize a major difference every time in the car. Well, needless to say, I certainly found what I was looking for and I could not believe how simple it was.
While having my nose in the books and digging deep on the internet, I cam across a couple sites that guaranteed I could do a water car conversion on my car or truck. This essentially would make a water-fuel hybrid, which would allow me to double my gas mileage and have much cleaner emissions. I was a non-believer at first due to the programming I had received through the major media. I had no personal experience with this technology. I thought to myself, "Run my car on Water? This is utter BS."
However, as the weeks continued to pass by, I found myself very desperate as I kept dishing out $65 on every fill-up at the gas pump. Many times I was at the gas station topping off two times a week! Now, I do pretty well for myself financially, but even so, I knew this had to stop. I felt I was playing the role of a victim and there was no excuse for this! I could be investing this money or doing something much more productive, I had reasoned.
Because a good friend pushed me, I eventually made the decision to view what this water car conversion system was all about. I researched it for a month and found a great deal of very convincing material. The odd thing was, it absolutely made sense after I had performed the research myself. I have a strong science background so I felt that I comprehended it at a higher level. That's when I made what I consider to be one of the best decisions of my life!
The cool thing is, you don't really combine water and gas then begin to fill-up your gas tank. What you're really doing is creating an easy conversion system in your engine bay that manufactures a little current from your battery which feeds into a small water reservoir. That's it!
Those that have an understanding concerning physics and chemistry know that in order to split water molecules at the atomic level, you must have an electrical current. The purpose of the current is to separate the H20 molecules into HHO gas. From there, this gas is then shuttled into your car's intake system. Finally, it's combined with your pre-existing air / fuel mixture to initiate an incredibly efficient burn for your car or trucks combustion apparatus.
In all honesty, the actual conversion is relatively easy. Go and pick-up the parts at your local hardware store and you'll see that they are typically no more than $100. This is a drop in the bucket, especially if you spend between $50-$100 at the gas station. The conversion usually takes about two hours to perform. If you are not mechanically inclined, find a mechanic and he can get the job done in an hour. The process is completely reversible so there is minimal risk of long term damage. Remember, any process that is reversible will not affect your warranty, as this tends to be a valid concern for many.
Be prepared after you finish the process because you will have a super efficient gas saver on your hands! In my personal experience, I went from 25MPG to around 45MPG, which is just about double. This simple conversion paid for itself in less than two months. Now, putting the extra money I'm banking toward my annual two-week trip to South America and investment portfolio! I'm very pleased with my decision to run my car on water and hydrogen and recommend it to all seeking a breather from paralyzing gas prices. Don't expect relief anytime soon from the middle-class crunch if you prefer to continue shelling out tons of cash.
