Luxury Ride with Mercedes Wheels : Mercedes benz new car review 2008

In 1886, Karl Benz gave birth to the world's first automobile. This was a three-wheeled vehicle called the “Benz Patent Motor Car.†After some months, Gottlieb Daimler and his chief engineer Wilhelm Maybach launched a four-wheeled vehicle operated by the Daimler engine. However, it was only in 1901 that the first Mercedes was manufactured. This was a little after Daimler's death. On the request of Emil Jellinek, one of Daimler's major distributors, Maybach created the car that was named after Jellinek's daughter, Mercedes. In 1926, the companies founded by Daimler and Benz merged to form Daimler-Benz AG, and the Mercedes-Benz brand was born. It was represented by the emblem of a three-pointed star in a laurel wreath. This star was literally dreamt by Daimler years earlier. The three points, on the other hand, indicated that his engines were meant for use in all vehicles traveling on land, air, and sea. From then on, the Mercedes-Benz name has become synonymous with automotive excellence. When one wants to project his image through the Mercedes-Benz car, buying a new set of Mercedes wheels is a good option. This is because wheels can very well represent the character of a vehicle owner. However, there are several factors to consider when choosing the right Mercedes wheels for a specific Mercedes vehicle. These include the offset, bolt patterns, plus sizing, and materials, but more importantly, the weight of the Mercedes wheels. Lighter wheels means less kinetic energy of the wheels is used at a certain speed. Thus the engine is required to work more to move the vehicle forward. Lighter wheels also make it easier to create considerably more comfortable suspensions. Additionally, they can move up and down more quickly when they encounter the force of the bumps on the road and the spring that links it to the vehicle’s body. Lighters wheels are usually made with aluminum rather than steel, as it was proven to be a very heavy material.Once an owner chooses the right Mercedes wheels for his vehicle, the next thing he should do is to properly take care of them for a longer and more efficient performance. There are different tips that can be used to preserve the quality of the wheels. First of all, household cleaners and other detergents should never be used to clean the wheels. The best wheel cleaning solution is a mild soap and water solution with a soft, nonabrasive cloth. Only on polished wheels should the aluminum wheel polish be used. Second, steam cleaners in automatic car washes and any tire cleaners should not be used on the wheels. It is recommended to always clean wheels when they are cool. As heat can affect the soap, it can cause the soap to dry on the wheels, thus becoming hard to rinse off. This can be prevented by cleaning them one at a time. After the wheels are thoroughly clean and dry, a coat of soft paste style wax should be applied to them. This produces a moisture barrier that assists the finish to last longer.
